🔥New class, new teacher! Welcome Laura to the team who will be looking after you on Tuesdays 7pm Heated Vinyasa Flow class. 🔥She will be covering Louise's class this Wednesday 😊
Laura grew up in Plymouth, and was introduced to yoga as a teen in secondary school. It gave her a calm space to move her body, re-set and energize for the rest of the day. She continued to practice, but it wasn’t until her early 20s, in need of direction, and with low self-esteem following an unhealthy relationship, she started to more fully embrace yoga’s beautiful power of healing mind and body and bringing us closer to our true self.
Laura flew to Bali and undertook 500hr yoga teacher training. Back in the UK, she undertook further training with Christopher Gladwell and Sarah Harlow. Inspired by their teaching, and with a thirst to learn more about anatomy and physiology, she began her training in Physiotherapy and qualified as a sports/deep tissue massage therapist in 2016 and Physiotherapist in 2019.
In her classes she aims to create a calm, safe space for you to explore both body and mind. Through a vinyasa style class, linked to the breath, and accompanied with music, you will focus on building strength, stability and suppleness in the body and calm in the mind. The aim is to then take what you have learnt off the mat, becoming a more vibrant and authentic you, no matter your starting point.
