Yin yoga is a slow pace, relaxing practice. As we hold each pose for a few minutes, it stretches and targets both the deep connective tissues between the muscles, and the fascia throughout the body. The aim is to increase circulation in the joints and to improve flexibility. It also helps regulate the body's flow of energy and reduces stress levels.
When designing her Yin Yoga sequences, Céline likes to work with the seasons and the elements, finding the best poses to restore the healthy flow of energy in the body.
Yin yoga balances perfectly with more traditional styles of Yoga and can also be a great starting point for anyone interested in a meditative practice.
